Installation of an AMG Badge

Please note that I currently do not know where to obtain this AMG badge.

I think I got lucky as a guy named S. Irwan sold it to me from Bnzsport.com

You can try to track him down there.

Before

Remove the hood latch (two 10 mm bolts)

Once the latch is removed, the nylon retainers can be seen for the stock emblem.

Just use a blunt object to put these toward the outside of the car.

The entire stock emblem will rise up. Remove the emblem and the nylon retainers.

It will look like this once the emblem is removed. Clean up the are with a solvent to remove any wax.

Test align the badge and mark it with a wax pencil.

Build up the recess with some double faced tape.

Peel the back off the new badge and install.

The finished product.
