Installation of DJH Aluminum Front Grill Wings
By Shinri 'Shinigami' Shiogami of Geneva, Switzerland

Installation time: Roughly 15 minutes
Tools required: An allen wrench of the correct size
To install the two Aluminium wings from DJH, you will need to remove the standard front grill from the SLK.
The wings clip on by bending a pair of metal strips attached to the back of the wings.
Take the wings and begin bending the metal strips as shown:

Remove the front grill from you SLK by unscrewing 6 screws found in the following spots (follow the red arrows):

Once all 6 screws have been removed (note the length of the screws, they are found in 3 different sizes, shortest towards the middle, longest in the small recesses to the side), you should wash the grill with some water.
It may have dirt inside and it doesn't help placing the wings. A somewhat clean grill should look like this when placed upside down:

The wings should be placed in the middle of the grill with the blunter tip towards the MB star.
Pass the bent metal tabs through a pair of holes as seen in this picture:

Now bend these strips as much as you can.
The wings should be placed as tight as possible to ensure they will not rattle:

Time to re-attach the grill with the now-attached wings back to the front of the SLK. The final look should resemble this:
