SLK Seat Lumbar Support
Almost everyone agrees that the SLK seat are terrible.
Personally I cannot drive the car for more than 20 minutes without getting a backache.
Aftermarket seats are really nice but pose some issues with the SLK.
1. You cannot retain the heated seats.
2. You may have issues with the passenger airbag sensor and the babysmart system.
3. You may lose the electric seat adjustment.
4. The seat color may not match.
I choose to add an inflatible air bladder. I had a professional shop install the unit outlined below.
The rubber bulb allows me to inflate the pillow as much as I need.
The bulb stores between the seat and the console.
This upgrade made a HUGE difference.
