Changing the HVAC Pollen Filter

This is a simple service item that can improve the performance of you Heat/AC system if the filter is clogged.

Note that the pictures below have the entire glove compartment removed for illustration purposes only.

First unscrew the panel under glove box. It is a black panel with a lot of holes. There are two screws.

Locate the door for the filter (circled in red below).

Slide the white tabs toward the edges to release the door (below).

The door will drop. Remove the door completely.

You will now see the filter (circled below).

Pull out the filter.

Viola! Now install the new filter. Take note of the old filter's position so that the new one

goes in the right way.
