Installation of the BonnConsult WSA 2000 Windscreen

The following are instructions for installing this type of windscreen.

This Windscreen can now be purchased from MyRoadster.Net in North America.

For European customers, go to BonnConsult.

Above is the parts that come with the unit and the WSA 2000 in its packaging. Included is a cleaner and a cloth.

Above is a picture of the entire unit before installation.

The first step is to remove the two hangers which lie just above the leather storage

bag on the rear wall of the interior. A tool is provided with the kit. Attach the provided mounts

with the original screws. Please note that the mounts have a threaded hole and an unthreaded hole.

The unthreaded hole is for the screw (top of the mount).

Do NOT completely tighten the screws. Keep them loose so the mount can freely move.

Cut some of the provided felt and place it on the mount.

Clean the WSA 2000 with a plastic polish, especially areas that will be inaccessable following installation.

Attach the WSA 2000 at the corners using the existing mounts for the stock windblocker.

If your car does not have these, they are included with the kit.

Attach the knobs through the WSA 2000 and into the threaded end of the mounts that were previously installed..

Once the knob is loosely in place, tighten the screw, then tighten the knob.

Perform this for both mounts.

Review: The WSA 2000 is an extreme high quality product. The material is very thick and sturdy.

High wind does not cause movement of the WSA 2000 and it is an effective windblocker.

It does not reflect light in front of the car or the dashboard lights.

It can, however, reflect the sun depending on the level of the sun (ie time of day and season).

Overall, I am extremely pleased with the unit.
